Micah Bronaugh is a current music educator, seeking a career in secondary-level music education, specifically band. Micah got her musical start in Cypress, TX, on flute, graduating from Cypress Woods High School in 2022. She later went on to attend The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Music Education with a certificate in Flute Performance. While at The University of Texas, Micah was a member of the Longhorn Marching Band, Wind Symphony, Symphony band, and Flute Choir, studying under professors Marianne Gedigian and Ebonee Thomas.
Micah Bronaugh is currently in her last semester of study at the University of Texas, where she is student-teaching at Danielson Middle School and Vista Ridge High School under the supervision of Andrea Gonzalez and Robert Herrings, respectively. Additionally, she has worked with the Cedar Park High School marching band during their 2023, 2024, and 2025 marching seasons as a marching technician.
What Micah loves most about Music Education is that it gives students the ability to feel confident in their abilities, find a way to collaborate with others, and helps them develop more curiosity about the community and world around them.
